Youth activism is invaluable in its ability to create a snowball effect of positive change with its peer to peer approach; so, in partnership with Konrad Adenaur Sifting, Dawaer created the “Human Rights in Action” project in the Qaa region of Lebanon.
By training 20 youth on utilizing interactive activities, games and sports to enhance human rights values and conflict resolution skills, these youth activists became an effective force in training other children and utilizing the CLAC Center to conduct informative and fun extracurricular activities for more than 150 Syrian and Lebanese children, instilling in them positive values, cooperation, inclusion and conflict resolution.
