Upon recognizing the paramount importance of media in countering violence and enhancing human rights, Dawaer – in partnership with UNESCO, kick-started the “Media Information Literacy Club”.

Five schools were chosen for the project, and both teachers and students were trained. This allowed the students to create their own clubs and mobilize others to do the same and produce more media content that promotes human rights advocacy and creates a platform for self-expression and the understanding of others.
